Select books with a similar theme from the Penguin Classics collection, and design a cohesive series of book jackets.

SOLUTION

The challenge in designing this series was expressing the equivocal idea of enlightenment in visual terms. A solution was reached after examining the vehicle by which the characters reached enlightenment. The protagonists of the Inner Guidance Book Series attain spiritual enlightenment not by subjecting themselves to the structure and influence of the material world, but by allowing their journeys into nature to evoke the existing knowledge, understanding, and individualism within themselves.





OPPORTUNITY

Redesign an existing product’s packaging that lacks both aesthetic appeal and functionality.

SOLUTION

Style conscious males believe underwear should be crafted and presented with the same quality as any other article of clothing. Rather than using traditional, slightly embarrassing underwear imagery, a neutral and discreet design was used to appeal more to men. Southern Union caters specifically to the rugged, yet sophisticated gentleman who understands the need for high-quality, stylish essentials.




OPPORTUNITY

Visually present a connection between a tangible word and an intangible word.

SOLUTION

In drawing a connection between the tangible word, cardboard, and the intangible word, pain, the LighterLoad campaign was created. Many times, the true story behind a person’s publicly displayed need remains unknown. The campaign’s goal is to offer support to people who suffer exterior harm because of the inner pains that trouble them.

Design a promotional piece for Anderson University’s Senior Show for graduating art students.

SOLUTION

In our time at Anderson University we’ve learned that work never seems like work if you’re genuinely passionate about what you do. There are few things more fulfilling than guiding a unique idea through the creative process and manifesting it in a beautiful visual. No matter where we end up next, our passion will keep the fun in everything we do.

Recreate and rebrand an existing company.

SOLUTION

Silo is a rebrand of Fossil, a modern watch, clothing, and accessory company with a retrospective style. The branding reflects the form and function of a silo in its purpose of preservation. Retaining a vintage look to its products allows Silo to stay unique in the modern fashion world, and remain accessible and affordable to the general public.

A summer lookbook, which is available in print, online, and as a functioning iPad app, as well as a video spot were created for the company.
